Katelyn Sheehan

Dr. Katelyn Sheehan is a Delaware native whose passion for physical therapy and education lead her to Santa Cruz and Precision Physical Therapy & Fitness. Dr. Sheehan graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training from University of Delaware in 2013. Through her undergraduate degree Dr. Sheehan was able to work with high school and collegiate level athletes before graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Western University of Health Sciences in 2017. While at Western University of Health Sciences Dr. Sheehan completed 4 clinical rotations in various settings across the United States. In all clinical settings Dr.Sheehan has found that she is passionate about working with a variety of patients and looks forward to continuing to learn and grow as a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Precision Physical Therapy & Fitness in the years to come.

In Dr. Sheehan’s spare time she enjoys hiking, photography and watching Flyers hockey.

Valerie Thorp

Dr. Valerie Thorp, a long-time Southern California resident, graduated from Concordia University Irvine in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sport Science and went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2017. She performed clinical rotations in a variety of settings including inpatient acute, outpatient pediatrics, outpatient rehabilitation and outpatient orthopedics. Dr. Thorp enjoys working with all ages and appreciates the diversity inherent to the outpatient orthopedic setting. She is passionate about helping individuals reach their movement goals and return to participating in the activities that they need and love to do.

Dr. Thorp is an avid swimmer and is happy to be back in her home state where she can swim outdoors year-round. She also enjoys hiking, biking, casual jogging, and is always looking for good suggestions on trails to try.

Casey Feickert

Dr. Casey Feickert was exposed to physical therapy from a young age. As a lifelong athlete he sustained his share of strains, sprains and broken bones that landed him on the patient side of the clinical experience. Passionate about baseball, Dr. Feickert was thrilled to play with Antelope Valley College for 1 year before being drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 2007. Dr. Feickert’s professional baseball career was short-lived when he injured his shoulder at the end of his first season. He played one season post-injury but was unable to return to his pre-injury form and was released by the Royals in 2009.

In 2010 Dr. Feickert started his second year of college at Cal State Long Beach where he graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. He took one year off after graduating to work as an aide and make sure physical therapy really was what he wanted to do, and after a year in the field, he returned to Cal State Long Beach and completed his DPT in 2017.

After 8 years in Long Beach Dr. Feickert and his wife moved to Santa Cruz where she is a 3rd grade teacher at San Lorenzo Valley Elementary school. When he’s not in the office Dr. Feickert enjoys playing basketball, hiking, backpacking, reading fantasy novels, and fishing with his wife and dog.

Carly Bagnall

Dr. Carly Bagnall was born and raised on the west side of Santa Cruz and is proud to serve her community as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr. Bagnall’s passion for effective rehabilitation practices started as a teenager when she spent many of her high school years in and out of physical therapy due to sports injuries.

Dr. Bagnall graduated Summa Cum Laude with her bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Sciences from Loyola Marymount University before pursuing her Doctor in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. While at USC, she completed rotations in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, vestibular, and pediatrics, and in the inpatient acute rehab unit. Upon graduation, Dr. Bagnall was awarded the Outstanding Scholar Award for her program indicating the highest level of both academic and clinical success of her graduating class.

Dr. Bagnall enjoys treating patients of all ages and backgrounds. She places extra importance on treating the whole person and ensuring her patients feel motivated, empowered, and heard throughout their rehabilitation. When outside of the clinic, Dr. Bagnall enjoys spending time with friends and family, cheering on Bay Area sports teams, traveling, and exploring all Santa Cruz has to offer.
