Throwing Mechanics and Injury Screenings

Who will perform the screening?

Dr. Chris Christensen, DPT, DNSET, CSCS or Dr. Casey Feickert, DPT, CSCS, XPS

Where will the screening be located?

At your designated Little League field

What should I expect?

  • A 20-minute one on one orthopedic evaluation including assessment of throwing mechanics with a Doctor of Physical Therapy
  • Availability of two screening dates per month between 3pm and 5pm
  • Players must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
  • A recommendation of proposed mechanical changes and corrective movements to eliminate arm stress, for further diagnostic testing, or a referral for formal physical therapy/rehabilitation

Please arrive 5 minutes before your player's screening time to allow for time to complete registration. These screenings are meant to be an educational resource, but are not formal Physical Therapy and are not meant as medical treatment or a replacement for therapeutic intervention.
