Matt Davis

Dr. Matt Davis was first exposed to the field of physical therapy through ankle injuries and surgery as a San Lorenzo Valley High School athlete. He went on to play one season of collegiate football at Azusa Pacific University before tearing his ACL. Still unsure about his career path, but with a passion for health and sports, he spent the summer of 2009 as a volunteer at Precision Physical Therapy & Fitness.

Dr. Davis went on to graduate from Azusa Pacific University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Applied Health and emphasis in Physical Therapy. He spent one year as a personal trainer in Ripon, CA before returning home to continue his experience in the physical therapy field as an aide at Precision Physical Therapy & Fitness. Dr. Davis completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in 2018. As a student, he completed 4 clinical rotations in a variety of settings, including in outpatient orthopedics, and in a skilled nursing facility. After school, Dr. Davis moved back to his hometown of Felton with his wife and daughter.

Dr. Davis is proud to be serving his community as a physical therapist at Precision Physical Therapy & Fitness. Outside of the office, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, watching movies, and playing anything competitive including: golf, tennis, basketball, football, bowling, darts, corn hole, card games, and much more!

Ashley Christiansen

Dr. Ashley Christiansen grew up in the San Lorenzo Valley and is proud to be serving her community at Precision Physical Therapy and Fitness. She started working various jobs at an early age, which attributed to her belief that achieving success comes from personal responsibility and hard work. After graduating from San Jose State University with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, she worked as a physical therapy aide and volunteered in several clinics throughout Santa Cruz County.

In 2018, Dr. Christiansen earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from California State University, Fresno. While at Fresno State, she performed clinical rotations in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, vestibular, and inpatient acute care. Upon graduation, Dr. Christiansen received the Outstanding Doctoral Project Award from the Division of Research and Graduate Studies for her evidence-based project in pediatrics. She enjoys working with all ages and is passionate about helping individuals meet their long-term and meaningful goals.

In Dr. Christiansen’s spare time she enjoys traveling, hiking, mountain biking, dancing to live music, and eating delicious food!
